The last time I camped on Long Beach was the Labour Day weekend in 1968. I had been in BC for less than a year and a bunch of us from work (BC Tel) decided to go camping for the long weekend. We actually camped on the beach, sand and all.

This year, Jennie & I decided to visit the west coast of Vancouver Island and stay for a while. Camping on Long Beach is not longer permitted. We stayed at Green Point campground in the Pacific Rim National Park for 6 days and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
