The weekend, Jun 22/23 Rain & cool Creston, BC
Saturday afternoon, after a relaxing morning, we visited Skimmerhorn Winery, again. We didn't need to taste the wine; we
Caveat: We don't drink a lot of wine these days. Jen purchased a couple of bottles of white wine from Skimmerhorn's neighbour winery at the local liquor store. Boy were we disappointed; the reason we went back to Skimmerhorn.
We purchased our 2 bottles and April asked if we wanted a bag. No need, really I said. Then she showed us the bag she was offering.
Sunday morning we headed out to an art gallery. We'd seen a number of
just needed to pick up a couple of bottles of their absolutely lovely white wine. If you like white wine, do yourself a favour and check out their website. They will ship their wine to you (a case of 12 minimum). April, the sales manager, suggested shipping would cost approximately $25 to ship a case to Vancouver Island. Your cost may vary, but you won't be disappointed with the wines.

After a second cup of coffee, the rain stopped. So off we went again, this time with success.

That's it for today, our final day in Creston. Hard to believe we've been here almost 2 weeks.
Tomorrow we move to Crawford Bay. We interested in exploring what the artisans have to offer.
