This morning, I visited the SS Moyie. What a superb example of a lake sternwheeler!

The lower level is where the cargo is carried. The upper level was for passengers. The men had their lounge at the front. In the middle is the Dining Room. At the rear was the sumptious Ladies Lounge.  

     

Of course on the top deck was the Captain's cabin and the wheelhouse.

Cabins are situated on the outside walls on the upper deck.

The finishing touches on the ship are really quite incredible.

On the walk back to the campground, I gazed at the beauty of the area.

Later in the afternoon, I hopped on my bike. I pedalled the trail up the Kaslo River for a couple of miles, then turned around.

When I returned from my ride, Jen suggested we walk into town and visit the Angry Hen.

    

We enjoyed a flight of four of their beers. They were all good. Along with some munchies, we sat outside in the sunshine.

   

It's getting to be dinner time, so we headed back to the campground and called it a day.
