When we knew we were coming to Kaslo, I emailed 2 RV parks. The first to reply was Woodbury, so we stayed there last weekend. The other RV park, Schroeder Creek, is about the same distance north of Kaslo as Woodbury is south.

We decided this morning to drive north to check the area out and perhaps stop at Schroeder Creek. We're sure glad we did. Schroeder Creek RV park is very attractive. We both wished we had stayed there last weekend and not Woodbury.

Here are some pictures of today's travels.

After visiting Schroeder's, we drove another 5 km north to Lost Ledge Site, part of Kootenay Lake Provincial Park.

Heading south to Kaslo, we saw these magnificent views.

I took the picture above when we stopped at Wing Creek Resort thinking they might have a coffee shop. Only 6 km to Kaslo, too close to be viable. But sure a nice looking outlook.

     

The weekend starts tomorrow. Not sure if we'll do anything or just stay off the roads. Maybe a coffee in town in the morning, who knows?
