Spring, 2022
Our summer season started April 1 with our return to Whiskey Creek campground. We spent last summer there and thoroughly enjoyed being close to friends and neighbours in the Parksville, Qualicum, and Nanoose Bay area of Vancouver Island.
But after a few short weeks, I was getting antsy. I said to Jen that we should head out. When Jen asked where to, I suggested "back to the Kootenays".
We both felt we didn't want to "waste" another summer just sitting, waiting for the pandemic to loosen its grip. That ain't going to happen.
