The weather was cool overnight, but the morning clouds broke into glorious sunshine - what a great day for a ferry ride!!
After a couple of last minute ToDo items on the trailer, we locked the doors at B&F's place and headed into Parksville to do a couple of chores.
Just around 11:45, we headed for Duke Point and the BC Ferry to Tsawwassen (the blue line on the map below). We arrived at the booth with lots of time to spare only to be told we might not get on the 12:45 ferry (our rig is over-height, 38' long). That's fine..we have a nice trailer to lounge in and a dog to walk!
I don't know what the BCF person was smoking, 'cause we got on and there was room to spare!

I programmed Maud, our GPS, for David and Norah's place in Langley, BC. (We stopped in at D&N's on our way to Vancouver Island from the east coast 7 months ago!)
We had a lovely dinner at their local restaurant with D&N then after more conversation, hit the sack!
