May 6 - Visiting Old Friends

Wow, another lovely morning. A great day to go visiting!
After dispensing with a few chores, we headed out in the van to meet up with fellow train buff, Murray and his wife Jackie. We enjoyed our visit to their beautiful back garden over a cup of tea.
Then it was off to east Maple Ridge to visit with Gordie, my tile guy back we were doing home renos. I'm sorry but I didn't think to take a picture. But we enjoyed coffee and cookies and some good laughs.
We went back to Pitt Meadows only to have the Engine Check Light come on again. Argh!! Two days in a row.
While Jen rested, I took the van back to Fountain Tire. Fortunately the issue was resolved (fingers x'd) relatively painlessly as far as finances were concerned.
Then it was off to White Spot to meet up with our great electrician friend Peter and his wife Judi for dinner. Three and a half hours later, we said our goodbyes with a promise to meet up again in August. Boy, I had forgotten how much we missed these guys!!
