June 03 - Barkerville Brewing and Quesnel's Little People

Another lovely sunny Cariboo morning!
After some paperwork for the business this morning, we headed off to Barkerville Brewing in downtown Quesnel. After sampling their wares - can you say "Tasty"?? - we came away with a "Growler" of 52' Stout and a bottle each of Prospector Ale and 18 Karat Amber Ale. The Growler can be re-filled at any craft brewery so we were told. After quaffing some in the afternoon, I think a return trip to the brewery might be in order before we leave Quesnel on Sunday!
We then drove to City Hall to start our tour of Quesnel's Little People. You can read all about these cute painted fire hydrants here.

We completed about 1/2 of the walk then stopped at Granville Coffee for some refreshments. After chatting with a couple of local ladies, we drove back to Robert's Roost.
