We left Wild Rose RV Park and headed for the Owl St. Cafe for a morning coffee. We sat outside on the patio in the morning sunshine - just lovely so long as you didn't look at the mountains close behind the cafe! They seemed to be hanging right over us.
We went back to Hwy 7 on the north side of the Fraser River then turned left and enjoyed a leisurely drive to friends David and Laraine's in Chilliwack. We looked for a liquor store so we could take some wine to no avail. So after we got set up, David and I did a quick jaunt to the local off-sales and back for a lovely meal. Boy it sure was hot!
Friday morning (Jul 31) we left for friends David and Norah's in Langley. We enjoyed a nice evening meal at their favourite local restaurant.
Tomorrow we head into the Vancouver area - Burnaby Cariboo RV Park to be precise. See you there!
