After a nice breakfast of bacon and eggs cooked on the camp stove, we headed back to Santa Cruz this morning to have a look around.
The weather sunny and hot and the traffic, well, it was busy the closer we got to Santa Cruz.
We eventually found the Tourist Info, picked up a map, then headed into downtown for some refreshments.
We continued on down the highway and back to the RV park.
Tomorrow we head to Monterey to meet up with our UK rellies. That should be fun! See you there!
But look at what's sitting on top of the rock! Lots of pelican and one lone seagull!
We drove back towards the Boardwalk and snapped a few pictures.
The first order of business this morning was checking out the forest fire south of Hollister, just south-east of the RV park.
Afterwards, we hopped back into the van and headed along the coast road to the Natural Bridges State Beach. Natural Bridges is a bit of a misnomer - the outermost arch collapsed into the ocean early in the 20th century and the inner arch did the same thing during a storm in 1980. So there is only one "bridge" left.
