Jul 16 -​ Now We're Cool!

We drove into Charlottetown this morning to pick up a few things, like a portable a/c unit. We've had enough of suffering through the heat of the day, waiting patiently for the sun to go down and the temperature to drop to a more comfortable level. 

When we arrived at Northumberland PP and got set up, it was just a matter of cutting a hole in the wall to vent the hot air. My Ryobi 18v jigsaw is well travelled! But it did the trick and yesterday afternoon we sat in a lovely cool rig while the sun beat down on us. 

     

Of course, just like when you wash your vehicle and it rains. We no sooner got the a/c working nicely and it rained and cooled things off very nicely. Oh well, push the OFF button on remote; we don't need the a/c right now.

     

That's it for today. Not too much exciting.

I'd planned for the eventuality of getting an a/c, hence the already-installed hatch in the side of Ali.
