Friday, June 17 Creston, BC
Yesterday as we drove towards Kootenay Lake, we passed The Mountain Barn cofffee shop just a short distance out of Creston.
Today, we going to visit. Why don't you come along.
We sat outside in the sunshine. The coffee was great and the carrot cake muffins, with icing, were absolutely scrumptious. We will be visiting again for sure.
After coffee we decided to walk up the path to see what was up there.
We found a number of picnic tables at the top of the path. This was the only one not surrounded by tall grass and weed.
On the way down, we marvelled at the workmanship of the railings at the back of the building. Beautiful!
That was The Mountain Barn. We will definitely be back.
