Friday May 15 - 100 Mile House
In the last couple of days, Colin and I have made four brackets so that we can attach a tarpaulin to the side of the trailer. We're going to make two more so that we can do the same thing, with a smaller tarp, to cover the ramp at the back of the trailer. With the addition of a couple of screen "doors" we'll have cover from the sun and rain.
We're staying here for a while, leisurely working on the trailer, and visiting with our old friends. Colin and I go way back to the late '50s when we first met as kids! It's really nice to be here!! It's really nice to have good, old friends!!
Colin and Mary live in a "dead' area as far as cell service is concerned - you have to stand in a certain area to get a signal. And it's the same thing for the Internet - they are on dial-up. Uploading pictures and text to our blog is out of the question.
So today will be the last day for a while that I will be updating our blog. Check back towards the end of the month when we will probably have worn out our welcome!!
