We decided to head for Prince George from Smithers. It was only a 4-hour drive and there really wasn't any reason to stop earlier.
We stopped in Houston for morning tea and coffee at a little place called "Tea with a Twist". Turns out the store was a tea shop as well as a gift shop - that was obviously the "twist".
We ventured down the road and stopped in Vanderhoof for lunch.
By the time we arrived at Blue Cedars RV Park just west of Prince George, the heavens had opened up. This was the first time that I had to set up the rig in the rain - didn't take very long to connect the power and water before I hopped inside to get out of the torrential downpour! There were rivers of mud everywhere in the park.
A short while later the rain stopped and the sun re-appeared. I finished setting up the rig, gingerly dancing around the mud puddles.
We pulled out of the park the next morning heading for McBride, BC.
See you there!
