Feb 21 - Dinner at the Salmon Point Pub
When we first arrived at Salmon Point, we dropped by the pub for a drink. Well that led to a couple of appies and a reservation for Sunday dinner - roast beef, yorkshire, veggies and roasted red pepper mashed potatoes. Tonight was the night!
After Creme Brule and a Tiger Brownie for dessert, we headed back to Alfie.
Our plan today is to catch up with our friend Betty who will be in and around Courtenay/Cumberland this morning. We have some shopping to do so we headed off early with the hopes of connecting with Betty later this morning.
After stops at Canadian Tire, Staples, and WalMart, we decided to head to the Wandering Moose cafe in Cumberland. On the way there, as luck would have it, we heard from Betty. A few minutes later there we were, enjoying morning drinks and muffins at our favourite cafe in Cumberland.
All too soon, it was time to head back to Ali. More chores to look after, like laundry - oh well, that's my task and it is only once a week.
So I apologize that today was not too exciting for you, dear reader.
