Aug 20 - The Mall, Washington, DC
This morning, we drove into downtown Washington, DC. Boy, it was hot and humid again. Fran & Suze were our tour guides and as Jen needed her w/chair, we took Alfie.
There's not much to say about Washington, DC except WOW!! The numerous monuments are very impressive.
Blazing sunshine and high humidity were too much. We decided to call it a day and head back to Bethesda. After lunch, we spent a lazy afternoon around the pool. What luxury!
