Sep 10 - EARTHQUAKE!!

The rig only shook for a few seconds so there was no damage, but it was exciting.

On a quiet Saturday morning in Osoyoos, woah, what's this??!! Ali is shaking! We've just experienced an earthquake!

The epicentre was just outside Oliver, a few miles up the road from where we are (blue dot). Jen said there was a really loud "bang" followed by a smaller bang. I didn't hear either. I must get my hearing checked when we get back to the Island - ha ha!

Tomorrow we leave for Enderby at the north end of the valley. See you there.

I left Jen by the lake and went and got Alfie. We loaded up the chair then headed back to the campground.

We strolled west along the shoreline path then back into the main part of town then the other way across the bridge towards our campground.

Returning to other news, after the earthquake, we wandered into Osoyoos to have a look around. It was a lovely morning even with a slight overcast - made for comfortable walking.
